A group of us from the Dahl pottery studio pit-fired our ceramics last weekend. I liked the results, and It gave me a new creative direction I should try in the future. These pieces will be for sales at the Dahl during the upcoming Fall Colors Art Studio Tour.

Yoko these are amazing! I hope you do more of these, is it a difficult process?

Basically you'll need a pit, lots of wood and sawdust, chemicals, and fun experimental stuff like coffee ground, corn husks, etc. It takes 24 hours to do this type of firing.
