Where Life Gathers

This piece was modeled after a friend, who was like the sacred mountain where monarch butterflies gather from all over the North American continent. She does not see the quality in herself, but it can easily be perceived. I want to celebrate such genuine beauty with this sculpture. We will lose our superficial attractiveness as we age, but the heart can continue to shine.
