I am slow no matter what I do, but things get done eventually. A little turtle in me tells me, "It's OK to take your time until you're fully satisfied." It's my attitude toward life and also toward my creative process.
My hiker friend commissioned me to make a little buddha with a backpack, a pole, hiking boots, a hat, and a bird. Hope this will make her smile.
I'm playing with my iPhone camera. It certainly made my sculpture bright, but it seems to have sacrificed its softness. Beside something happened to the third photo.... Michelangelo's "The Creation of Adam" and Jane Goodall's iconic moment with a baby chimpanzee are inspirations for this piece. Reaching out to each other is such a meaningful gesture. Even though mine is kinda silly, it was fun to work with this concept.
