Acrylic Painting: WATERFALL
No, I am not giving up ceramic sculpting, but this is my first attempt to combine a painting with a sculpture. When the entire piece is completed, the elongated painting (left) will be diaplayed like the maquette (right lower corner). Definitely the influence of 3-D work is visible here, and I am happy with the texture (enlarged images).

So great to see you stretching, innovating, with new ideas. Very moving. Can't wait to see the final piece of art.

You must be following this blog. Thank you for your comment. I've been making easily marketable items, but it seems to kill my creativity. For the next few months, I'm going to take a chance and try new ideas. It will be invigorating.

Would love to see the final piece of artwork. Extremely emotional, the flow and the texture just reach out to me and make evoke a lot of emotions. This is a really beautiful feeling that you created here.

It's interesting to learn that the texture evoked emotions. Thank you for your comment. I'm working on different textures lately. Your reaction is helping me experiment further with this technique.
